I almost made this thread myself yesterday. I'll take this opportunity to post about the new Fumo announcement!
Another year has gone by, and another Reitaisai has come to pass. With Reitaisai, we have a new batch of Fumos announced!
Standard: Daiyousei, Koakuma, Clownpiece, Tsukasa, Megumu, Soku Cirno
Mannaka: Yukari, Ran, Chen
Ichinana: Satori, Koishi
Mini: Shion, Joon, Kasen, Yuuka
With this year's event, we have the release of a brand-new line: the "Ichinana Size," or the 17cm size. I've got no real idea why this line was created, other than to harvest more money by recycling an existing design with minor changes. While Standards are still priced at 6600円 post-tax, the Ichinanas will be 4950円 post-tax as far as I can tell. I am the most excited about all the new standards coming out.
The breakdown of most popular characters without Fumos, from before this announcement looked like this:

All new characters from this drop are in the top 11. Daiyousei and Koakuma are great picks as they finish off the EOSD cast, all big collectors will be sure to pick up these two to finish the set. Tsukasa has had bootlegs/customs coming out of Chinese storefronts for a while now, so it's likely Gift knew she would be a popular pick because of that. Clownpiece does have a small history of plushies with the Darugurumi and Nesoberi, but this is the first Megumu plush to my knowledge! Akyuu has had a significant jump in popularity since the 2023 poll, I believe Gift will hold out another year to see if her popularity sticks before deciding to give her a Fumo. Mima has been on a slow rise over the last few years but has had a small jump as well, while Gift has shown they acknowledge PC-98's existence with Reimu and Marisa, I am still in doubt that they will make other characters. (though I will be happy to be proven wrong)
The new top 15 will be as follows:
Akyuu, Keine, Mystia, Mima, Doremy, Seiga, Sekibanki, Murasa, Shinki, Yachie, Wriggle, Kosuzu, Mamizou, Kanako, Iku
Of these I will be hoping the most for Mystia, Sekibanki, Murasa, and Wriggle.
If a Keine Fumo is made, I would assume they would have a preference for her human form rather than her hakutaku form. Though I can also see a world where Gift makes one of each to be sold.

>>3047You are right in that it will be confusing, but there are a few ways to identify them. For both Satori and Koishi, the eyes on their chest are much flatter, I don't have a good close up reference photo though so I could be wrong.
Satori's heart on the headband is much flatter and appears to be more green than yellow, the same goes for the hearts on her shirt. There are also less details on her shirt, on the standard there is a line with dots on either side running vertically in the front, but on the Ichinana there is no such similar thing.
I haven't been able to as easily find any other distinct differences on Koishi. I'll ask a friend if they got any closer photos which I might be able to investigate further.
